“Tie It Down” Program for

Cargo Safety Education and Compliance

Transportation Cargo Safety Organization and Cargo SafetyWeb have developed a cargo safety awareness and compliance program targeting all drivers. The program will partner with cargo and highway safety supporters to provide education, awareness and solutions for drivers of all open-bed vehicles and trailers.

The long-term plan is to take this program nationwide “Tie It Down America”. We are starting things off with a pilot program in the state of Washington where laws are in place to save lives and money by requiring open-bed vehicles to covered and secured their loads. The goal is to bring cargo safety awareness to drivers and provide them with a solution for easy compliance, the Cargo SafetyWeb. Ultimately, our program is intended to save lives, improve highway safety and the environment, in addition to reduce lost-time and money associated with loosing an unsecured load in transit.
